National Quality Award 2009

The Ondřejovická strojírna Ltd. won the prestigious 2009 National Quality Award, entitled "Successful company".

When evaluating the company Ondřejovická strojírna Ltd., not only the achieved quality of products
and services was assessed, but also its management quality, economic results, relation to employees,
customers and suppliers. An integral part of the evaluation is proving the environmental
considerations and social responsibility. The verification of a high level of quality management in our
company was carried out based on the principles of the EFQM excellence model, at present the only
model in the world that is able to compare companies of various sectors and sizes in a complex and
fully objective way.

On 11 November 2009 a ceremony was held in the Spanish Hall at Prague Castle where the prizes
were handed out in the presence of representatives of the Government of the Czech Republic and a
number of other prominent personalities and guests.
